To use the MusicSource search engine, you will need a recent browser (Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later), and you must have Javascript enabled. For more information on how this works, see the "Javascript" section below. We also recommend that you get a copy of the Windows Media Player - our online auditioning and purchasing modules require that you have this plug-in.
Supported Browsers:
In order to use the fresh ground MusicSource Search Engine you will have to access it with a recent browser. You can download Netscape or Internet Explorer free of charge from their vendors.

MusicSource is supported on newer versions of Internet Explorer (e.g. 5.1, 5.2). If you are running OSX, MusicSource should run without problems.

About JavaScript:
JavaScript is a cross-platform scripting language for Internet applications like fresh ground MusicSource. Several pages in the search engine process your input using JavaScript so that we can correctly search our databases for the music you have requested. You must have JavaScript enabled in order to use the search engine. To verify that you do, click the link below:

If you don't see a popup window, we recommend that you use a recent version of Internet Explorer (JavaScript is automatically enabled in Internet Explorer 4.x.), or enable JavaScript in a recent version of Netscape. Here are some instructions for Netscape users.
To enable JavaScript in Netscape Navigator 3.x, follow these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select "Options | Network Preferences..."
2. From the window on the left, click on the "+" next to "Advanced"
3. Make sure the checkbox is checked that says "Enable JavaScript"
4. Click the OK button
To enable JavaScript in Netscape Communicator 4.x, follow these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select "Edit | Preferences..."
2. From the window on the left, click on the "+" next to "Advanced"
3. Make sure the checkbox is checked that says "Enable JavaScript"
4. Click the OK button
