Chapter 6 - Using KEEPER - the Hold Feature:A Keeper checkbox appears next to every song that displays in your search results, regardless of whether you performed your search in the FINDER or EXPLORER section of MusicSource.A song with its Keeper checkbox marked gets moved into the Keeper list, which acts as a temporary holding directory.
As with similar MusicSource display screens, each song in the Keeper list is displayed with more detail in the lower half of the split screen. Songs in your Keeper list can be attached to a Project. To do this, check the box next to the song(s) you wish to add to a project, then click the "Add to Project" button. This will open the Projects area which requires that you login. The initial screen of the Projects area gives you the choice to either register (if you are a first time user), or login if you have previously registered. For more details about the MusicSource PROJECTS feature and our User Registration process, please see the Using Projects chapter of this tutorial. If you wish to remove a song from your Keepers list, make sure that it is the only one marked with the checkbox at the far left of the row, and then click on the "Remove" button at the far right of the screen. You may print the details for all of the songs in your Keepers list by clicking on the "Print" button at the far right of the screen. If you wish to print the details for just one song in the Keepers list, use the "Print" button that appears to the right of the Song Details title in the lower half of the split screen.
Note: The next chapter of this tutorial explains how to use the PROJECTS feature of MusicSource in order to keep a record of songs chosen for a production, share search results with a colleague, and download CD Audio quality versions of our music for use in your productions.
